The Squad, for me, lost their last shred of appeal upon approving that $40 billion supplemental aid package for Ukraine. This placing of the welfare of the bloated and corrupt defense industry over that of their constituents was a morally bankrupt act. The bizarre delusion of using Ukrainians to die for the purpose of partitioning Russia into easily digestible segments for our neoliberal capitalists to exploit will occupy many pages of future historical analysis of the decline of the Empire of the United States of America. Too, when will the Democratic party finally tell Our Lady of Tragic Lost Elections, Ms Hillary Clinton, to stop using Russia as a fig leaf for her losing the election to a slow walking, fast talking cheeseburger?

At some point, should there not be a principle for which one is willing to lose a congressional seat if need be? Because, to my aging eyes, this country has been hijacked by rapacious corporate capitalism and as some Republican president once noted, " ... a divided house cannot stand ..."

There are a raft of critical issues and coming challenges that need a radical shift in government policy for this country to continue to exist.

The Squad could have stood on the side of angels, but ...

Same as happened to the Tea Party. If the Establishment is good at nothing else, it is very good at determining whom to co-opt, whom to buy off, whom to neutralize, whom to ignore.
