I read Nate Silver's piece and totally agree. We judge politicians' legacy not by their character but by the laws and regulations and judges they bequit to future generations. RBG T-shirts are not what Ginsberg will be remembered by.

Yeah, get Justice Sotomayor to step down now and confirm Merrick Garland (it's his turn!) to the Court.

Yes, it may well be that Merrick is not the chosen, but who will this group of feckless democrats ram through to save our "democracy"? To employ this strategy is to prostrate us to the whims of not only the Democrats in corporate pockets, but Senator Sinema too.

With Justice Jackson expressing worry that the First Amendment interfered with a government's ability to control discourse, what will the next savior proclaim?

This country needs a several new political parties with a whole new class of politicians that have a laser focus on the plight of us, the citizens.

To the pundits, that say my cynicism regarding the ability of our current political class to address any important issue gets me my predicted bad result and is ergo my fault, let me say this: sod off!
