This was well written. It is evident that the status quo in Law Enforcement allows for egregious abuses and societal damaging neglect of the Public Safety. I have often stated that if we could purge right wing aligned people from our nation's law enforcement, we would resolve nearly 99% of all the "bad apples" in America Law enforcement. When we consider that American Police as an Institution are an instrument of Right Wing Policy....It becomes evident that any attempt to thwart that role or change it as an institution will be seen as an existential threat by the Ruling Class and their pawn followers of the middle and lower classes. Changes to the system of policing in America will not be attained merely by policy and legislation. It will be resisted by force.
