The best argument for Israel being the dog and USA being the tail is the whole spectacle of USA presidents going to Israel, putting on the kippah and kissing the western wall. Attacking China from the West seems novel. I'm sure there are dreams of Uyghurs welcoming our troops with flowers, tea and young bodies carrying kalashnikovs to help drive regime change in China. (There is something hauntingly familiar with this dream ...)
