On a semi-positive note: NPR this morning was still sounding bellicose, but highlighted Putin's positions on NATO expansion and Ukraine membership several times. The best though was when Steve Inskeep said (paraphrased), "Russia is demanding that Ukraine never become a member of NATO. NATO has made it clear that Ukraine will never become a member but they refuse to withdraw the invitation to join."
