years ago i thought Apple was moving into personal healthcare devices via the watch. their recent fiasco with blood oxygen monitor—having to remove their latest watch from stores b/c they didn’t (and then couldn’t) negotiate an agreement w/the blood ox IP owner—proved i was wrong.
it’s a similarly dystopian vision, but one that’s a bit more upscale than selling teenagers the ability, er ‘experience,’ to flirt with cartoons. tim cook doesn’t have steve jobs’ savant-like genius for product dev, nor his vision.
Is using these in public spaces courteous?
