Report: Israeli drones lure Palestinians with crying children recordings, then shoot them

As we approach the season that Christians like to associate with the birth of a God preaching love, the West-approved war on the people of Gaza continues. I frankly think this won’t stop until Israel cleanses the land “from the river to the sea” of blood not its own and creates Greater Israel, its longed-for, future, racist theocracy. Planning for settler colonial lots has started, and Israel wears blood to its armpits in making it happen.

Much of that blood is drawn from women and children. A recent UN report which studied deaths in Gaza during the first six months of the Israeli assault found that “44 percent of the victims were children, with the biggest single category aged five to nine.” In all, the UN says, 70% of those killed were women and children.

Those murders are evil enough. But worse is this, from last April. According to reports published in Middle East Eye and investigated by Al Jazeera Investigations and Snopes, the IDF used drones to lure Palestinians from hiding by broadcasting sounds of crying women and children, then shot them as they emerged.

Middle East Eye:

A video recorded by a resident of Nuseirat refugee camp, and circulating on social media, showcased sounds of crying infants, while the resident explained that these were pre-recorded sounds played by Israeli quadcopters.

"Over the past three days, there have been at least 12 injuries due to quadcopter fire. This morning alone, we rescued six people who were wounded in the neighbourhood. The injuries were serious: some were shot directly in the head.”

According to the residents, the audio recordings also included songs in both Hebrew and Arabic, including children’s songs, sounds of clashes and moving tanks, voices of Palestinian armed men, and voices of local roaming vendors of cleaning products familiar to residents of Gaza.
