My best guess would be a new kind of Presidential Emergency Operations Center. The old one was located under the east wing so it would make sense to build a newer and better one without announcing too much publicly.

In January CNN already reported that the PEOC had been demolished, along with the rest of the East Wing, to make way for a new facility with more modern technology.

Could be. Thanks for this, Martin.

Many are telling me it’s time to get out of the U.S. the axe will fall, but go where? Who will survive? What are they trying to do? The whole world seems to be at risk. I no longer feel safe at home or anywhere. I feel the world is run by evil villains satanic as hell who somehow know what they’ve done and are trying to either cover it up or fix some of its consequences or both. Every day it looks worse. God help us all.

A few months ago, I was chilled to the marrow over your post about the surveillance of Flock cameras, and I commented about elite feeling about the necessity to surveil and manage the populace. After listening to her talking about the Israeli Project Nimbus and its use in Gaza, I feel as if I lack imagination and an appropriate level of cynicism in the depravity in out leadership.

I’ve been seeing it this way since the beginning, I can talk GPT into making me images, but no proof of anything to write about it - seems so fucking obvious. I still think it’s the golden dome and they’re laughing at us for being so stupid.

It's an interesting theory, but an AI center "running the whole country" is quite a stretch. How exactly would that happen? What AI can do something like that? I mean, right now the best AI can't even stop hallucinating, and according to Gary Marcus that problem isn't going to go away with the current direction of the technology. In other words, I think a data center is an interesting idea, but the AI part needs more work.

There may be things we don’t know about it but surveillance, perhaps not as massive as they want us to think, is possible, and I’m sure most of those in on it are nefarious people to varying degrees, such as Thiel, Karp, Palantir and Black Rock et al under more names than they have people who know. Israel is running it, and US covert agencies too, neither of them care about human life in the least, or life in general for that matter, we have a ton of disasters on our hands from totalitarian takeover already in place but not the official “government” and ICE isn’t for immigration only it’s “brown shirts” ready to attack all of us in the name of Security just like they are doing now with Palestinians. We cut off the dribbling aid and now are cancelling many more aid groups because we no longer can play the good guy because we’re somehow doomed and they’re trying extreme ways to un-doom themselves and to hell with the rest of us.

On October 27, 2025 Jessica Wildflower of "Sentinel Intelligence" wrote "It's not a Ballroom. It's a Bunker."

https://www.the-sentinel-intelligence.net/its-not-a-ballroom-its-a-bunker/

She posited that the administration knows full well that climate change is going to be really, really bad and this bunker is for riding out the storm. (Apologies to Jim Morrison.) She too, saw the ballroom as a lid for the renovations of the existing bunker under what was formerly the East Wing.

Audrey Henson expands upon Wildflower's thesis. I think it is entirely plausible. Which leads me to contemplate if this facility is meant to go to the winner of the next Presidential Election?

I think the answer is no. Houston, we have a problem!

Thomas, thank you for a very informative article that raises some thought-provoking issues. And I recognize, along with you, some potential future issues, i.e., Palantir, Blackrock, etc. involvment in this project-- what could possibly go wrong? BUT, on the other hand, a lot of us here in this country (not me) are having a hard time transitioning away from the Obama-Biden era of free-for- all, come one come all, everybody hold hands and sing Kumbaya as the Titanic goes down and feel good about selling our souls and country to the Peoples Republic of China, etc. etc. and now, under a Trumpian reality, we must now focus on ourselves exclusively: on re-building our infrastructure, on securing our financial superiority once more among the nations. Its a frightening realization to many liberals, Democrats, and RINOs who lost their way, who are now realizing that maybe what Daddy Warbucks is doing is what actually needs to be done to maintain our sovereignty in this dog-eat-dog transnational world we live in. Me? I'm not uneasy about Trump doing what a Daddy Warbucks does. Why? I've learned in the flesh what the framers realized back before 1776: The Right To Keep And Bear Arms guaranteed to us in the 2nd Amndmt guarantees that the 140+million armed Americans in this country are (in a lot of cases) heavily armed with military grade firearms and munitions. We Patriots comprise a lot more firepower than our standing army of 4 million. While we dont have access to the military's use of advanced warfare technology, we still represent a major obstacle SHOULD TRUMP OR ANY FUTURE PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN CHOSE TO BECOME TYRANNICAL. This is the difference between those of us who are armed and prepared to defend and die for our free country, and those of us who aren't: we understand what must be done to guarantee the freedom of our children and future generations, and we will die defending this freedom and fight tryanny to the death with our firearms. This is a partial definition of a Patriot, because Patriotism assumes several things-- being willing to defend and die for your country is the most extreme. But as long as we have nationsl leaders- like Mr. Trump- who are not afraid of respecting their armed constituency, then we're all good. Its when you have brain-dead Democrats, like Biden, who wasn't even aware of when he soiled his diaper, that ranted incoherently about banning assault rifles every chance he got-- this is when all of us-- even those of you who are NOT really Patriots, should start worrying.
