Excellent. I could add a few things. There is a tiny but powerful set that wants total control and surveillance, projecting their minds on everyone. Some of the Wannabe Tech Overlords (#6) are in the game mainly for that, while other Tech Overlords just want infinite money and/or ego gratification. This set (I wouldn't call it a group yet) is sprinkled in other categories too, ostensibly as a means to an end (such as sexual control and enforcing purity, or law-and-order). It's a rare but damaging form of psychopathy, a sort of tyranny of the mind.

The groups may not unite—may not deliberately adopt each other’s agenda—but they certainly use each other, even though most understand there is little congruence among their goals. (And one or two outside actors, notably Israel, uses some or all of them, and perhaps vice versa.)

Re "lust for unlimited power": in a sense, power is the means to their ends. But what sets these groups apart, what makes them a plague on society, is that their ends are themselves in all cases the essence of exercise of malign power—control over sex, over wealth; theft and rape; mass murder through war. That's not the case with a group that aims, for example, to roll back carbon emissions or restore forests. The only left-wing comparability might be a radical-egalitarian movement like the Khmer Rouge, willing to control and destroy people's lives ostensibly in the service of an ethical goal.

Lastly, re the surveillance state (plus non-state surveillance) and the spread of AI data centers: from a purely technical point of view, it'd be interesting to learn how these centers are powered—how the electricity gets there from the external source, how the source & the transmission lines are protected, what on-site backup they have. Same with the centers' cooling water. Just out of sheer intellectual curiosity and appreciation of good engineering

Does it matter which wins, if the outcome is (in parallel) social collapse and anarchic civil war? Not fun, but will sweep away the "winners".

Hoo-boy, lots missing here about “which Right” — because it doesn’t include the neoliberal globalist totalitarian “Democrat” Right that got us into this pickle in the first place. I refer to Bill & Hill, Biden, Blinken, Sullivan, and not least Obama. Their woke “beard” doesn’t wash their filthy hands.

This “Democrat” Right started with NAFTA, China to the WTO, the Commodities Futures Modernization Act, repeal of Glass-Stegall, mass-incarceration of “super-predators,” welfare reform, and continued through “foaming the runway” for the banks, Too Big to Jail TM, “We tortured some folks,” “We came, we saw, he died,” Signature Strikes TM, “F*ck the EU,” and enthusiastically promoted an attempted genocide in eastern Ukraine and a full-on genocide in Palestine.

And I hope that “prosecution” in Number 2 is a typo and that you meant to say “persecution.” The Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendments GUARANTEE a “prosecution” — it’s called Due Process of Law. The LACK of a “prosecution” is precisely what makes ICE flights and vaporizing smugglers so offensive to our Constiution. The word for that is “persecution.”

My losses are not the Right's wins. It is not a zero-sum ledger for my losses are their losses.

Arable land, potable water, fresh air, stable ocean currents, a predictable jet stream and freedom from contagious disease are losses humanity shares no matter ideology.

The winner will be whoever gets in bed with the neoliberals first. That's how the duopoly works: the worst people seek each other out to form coalitions that are even worse than what we started with (ratchet effect as applied to a hellbound train to make sure it never tries to reverse course).
