Guess what happened after Trump’s state of the union? Dem leaders were unhappy … with Democrats.

From AXIOS:

"What we're hearing: Leadership is "very unhappy" with those who went beyond traditional protest tactics like outfit coordination and refusal to clap, a senior House Democrat told Axios.

Roughly a dozen Democratic disruptors — including Reps. Melanie Stansbury (D-N.M.), Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) and Maxine Dexter (D-Ore.) — were called into a "come to Jesus meeting" on Thursday morning, the senior Dem told Axios.
The top three House Democratic leaders were present: Jeffries, Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-Mass.) and Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.).
Yes, but: A source familiar with the matter stressed that these lawmakers are "not getting yelled at."

"It's a consultative process. We understand the pressure they are under."
"They are not being talked to like they are children. We are helping them understand why their strategy is a bad idea," the source said."

I’m told this leak comes from Dem leadership, but that’s unverified.

Apparently, this (below) is how Dems should object when the state commits horrible crimes — compliantly, bent, on their knees.

It bears painful repeating: If Democrats won’t offer an actual alternative — how could they? it would mean siding with the actual left — we’re headed for a locked-down state or a terrible loop, each prelude to some kind of crash.

True words, Thomas. Both Chuckie and Hakim Jeffries are in way over their heads. We need fighters, not these clowns. Problem is that the Clinton corporatists that have controlled the party for 30+ years hate the attack dogs ... Bernie, AOC, Jasmine Crocker, and really hate the idea of reform. The donors and consultants that broke the Party want to stay on this steady course until we crash onto the rocks.

Chris Murphy is a New Dem who sticks his finger in the wind and is a loud voice of opposition to Trump ... today. Then he may very well switch back to being a New Dem.

I am so done with the DNC/DCCC/DSCC/TheDemocrats™ in general.

If all you've got is petty heckling, you ain't got much at all.

Hard to feel anything for a Democratic party that enables genocide and supports war. Bernie's the only one out there (Jeffries is stumping but only for his book, not public policies) and he's an independent, not a Democrat.
