A Short Note...

Posting has been briefly interrupted, but will return shortly.

A short note to explain why there have been so few posts in the last two weeks. We’ve had a death in the family, someone quite close to us in fact, who died rather suddenly, and between the grieving and the endless practical details of closing out someone else’s life, it’s been a harried time.

That ends soon. The funeral is this week in Las Vegas (so, first time on a plane in more than a year!) and there will be a small gathering of the clan. After the following weekend, we should be back in business, we at La Maison chez nous, and your inbox should see new offerings again.

Thanks to everyone for their support and patience. I do this writing out of love of doing it and also to say what seems to need to be said. No one out there is paid to respond to any of it, and yet so many of you have responded so positively that I’m truly touched. Again, thank you!

Take care of yourselves. Some of these trips are shorter than we think.
