Palantir has positioned itself as the ultimate disintermediation tool between the killer and killed.

They adapted the business model of internet commerce to war and surveillance. They have installed themselves into the supply chain of military expenditures as an intermediary that applies methods and means to reach the goal of total domination. Every dime spent on defense now must be run through them before an acquisition can take place to insure their master planning objectives are fulfilled. It is the ultimate Orwellian business plan that no one knows exists or understands among the general public.

Somewhat like Sheriff Buford could on the one hand claim to The Law In Dis Heah County, when it came to arresting civil rights protesters on any pretext, but just a private citizen exercising his God-given right to assembly when it came time to preside over the local Klavern.

Palantir seems willing and able to lead us into a distopia.

I do question the military AI side of their business. It seems predicated upon the assumption of its users possessing air superiority. For small defenseless populations that assumption is unfortunately correct. Peer adversaries will provide no cooperation in that regard. As well, satellites are not endowed with God given rights to remain in orbit.

It seems that Karp has read McCoy. What sickens me (and I've just started "To Govern the Globe") seems to fuel his rapacious appetite for cruel domination.

Palatnir is far more useful at rooting out domestic dissent than it is at foreign enemies.

Exactly. Their magic phrase is 'an operating system for the government.' And by government they mean more than one. The deep in the UK as well.
